THE STRING DIARIES

Based on the book from Stephen Lloyd Jones, RubyRock is development on The String Diaries with Sony Pictures. The TV adaptation is set to be penned by Steve Lightfoot whose previous showrunning credits include Shantaram and Netflix’s The Punisher, as well as Noir the Spiderman spin-off currently in development from MGM+ / Prime Video.

A family is hunted by a centuries-old monster: a man with a relentless obsession who can take on any identity. Armed only with a collection of diaries, passed down from mother to daughter, until now the women have faced one simple choice – run or die. Now, HANNAH WILDE must decide whether to turn and fight.
